The challenges that come with being a full time artist are to keep the fire within burning by constantly practicing art and balancing the world outside (financial aspects and social responsibilities). Other challenges follow, like finding inspiration to create with unbreakable self-trust while dealing with many restrictions and criticism. The answer is to remain persistent and resilient to any pandemic or adverse times without losing one’s hopes and beliefs in one’s craft.

About the Artist
“What is, is. What isn’t, isn’t.” My path to becoming an artist is through my necessity for self-actualization, the realization of my full inner potential through; art, creativity, independence and spontaneity while being mindful of my limitations, acceptance and a grasp of the real world throughout my life. I am always discovering my being, transcending and evolving, by producing (textured, experimental, unexpected and improvisational mixed media) artworks that create new and unpredictable cycles of thoughts. In my varied and diverse approaches to making art, I hope to invite and provoke the viewer to draw into a state of speculation, juxtaposition and ironic twist of images with a chance to challenge one’s thoughts, perspectives and expectations.
