Photo Description
This picture was taken during my short visit to Merak in the Far East of Bhutan in 2019. As I was strolling around the pristine town, I came across various beauties of our country’s amazing landscapes and an immense unique culture which is diverse from the west of Bhutan.
There was this particular sight which made me stop for a while- an old lady sitting on top of a wall which was made of piles of flat rocks.
It seemed like she was having her moment with prayer flags fluttering and silent echoes of the mountains. When I captured this, I also realized how important it is to have a moment with ourselves- a moment of freedom and to take a breath every now and then.
