About Sangay Lhatso
As a child, I remember being told about the countless past lives we have lived, where the insect you swatted away or the person who brought you pain were mothers that conceived you, not once but in numerous lifetimes. We are related to every being in the universe.
I imagine the cyclic rhythm of death, rebirth and transformation in continuous ebb and flow.
My work in acrylics comes into visual play with strong strokes to emulate the movement imagined to send a message of universal connectedness.
