About Zimbiri
I was born and raised in Bhutan, finished my undergrad from Wheaton College, MA, with a double major in Economics and Fine Arts.
My first exhibition, Faces, was the first female solo exhibition in Bhutan. It was about people and their way of coping with society by wearing different ‘Faces’. I am currently working on a series of paintings that are an exploration of traditional Bhutanese paint (saa-tshen) and imagery.
