About Yeshey Dorji

I started photographing in the 1980s as a novice, and turned professional in 2008.

I published my first book in 2008 – a coffee table book on the wild birds of Bhutan and

I have authored/edited 8 books. 

My photographic works appear in Spain, UK, USA, China, India and Indonesia.

I am a contributor to The Archive UK who archive the images of the most endangered animals and birds of the world.

A specialised book called “100 Birds One Must See Before Dying” features my bird image.

The Guiness Book of World Records carries my image of the rarest Heron.  I have even covered the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for a sports magazine in South East Asia.

I have also covered the Shanghai Masters Tennis Championships for a sports magazine in South East Asia.

I am currently working on a book on the coinages of Bhutan.
